Bosch Strengthens Presence in Nepal with Advanced Technology and Service Solutions
Kathmandu, 21 October 2023, More than a year after its entry into Nepal, Bosch has reaffirmed its commitment to Nepal, identifying it as a region of strategic importance. Bosch, a leading global supplier of technology and services, will continue to invest in the market and provide excellent diesel service.
On his first visit, Bosch Group India Chairman and Managing Director of Bosch Limited, Guru Prasad Mudlapur, said that Bosch is looking to expand further in Nepal.
“Nepal has a unique combination of geographical advantages and a young consumer population. The region has a promising future with huge untapped potential. Bosch wants to be at the center of this transition. We understand the need to develop a strong service network for diesel parts here and are committed to moving forward together through trust and high-quality performance,” said Managing Director Mudlapur.
Since opening a contact office in May 2022, Bosch has been offering a wide range of products and solutions in the automotive, power tools, building technology, household appliances and healthcare sectors.
In addition, as a testament to its support, care and expansion of the ecosystem, Bosch recently organized its first Bosch Diesel Service (BDS) partner gathering in Kathmandu. The gathering was attended by around 65 people, including Bosch’s key automotive distributors, its BDS partners in Nepal and major auto OEMs.

‘In the automotive segment, Bosch has already expanded to more than 3,000 dealers in every province of Nepal. We will collaborate extensively with all our ecosystem partners. This expansion will also help us establish the importance of genuine and high-quality parts in those regions. Apart from mobility, Bosch is also servicing major hydropower and construction projects in Nepal and has set up dedicated centers for after-sales service. Bosch’s building technology solutions, including CCTV, public address, fire alarm systems, are also installed in major establishments in the country,’ said Kamat.
